UMi has unveiled its latest smartphone, the  UMi Plus E , which features a 5.5-inch FHD screen and will be one of the first available smartphones with Mediatek's Helio P20 octa-core chipset. The new  UMi Plus E  is an updated version of the already available UMi Plus smartphone, coming with Mediatek's 16nm Helio P20 octa-core SoC, which promises a 20 percent higher CPU performance and 25 percent higher GPU performance compared to the Helio P10. UMi paired the Helio P10 with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, which should certainly help with performance. The Helio P20 is Mediatek's first 16nm SoC that is manufactured by TSMC and features eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and the new Mali T880 MP2 GPU clocked at 900MHz.
