UMi has unveiled its latest smartphone, the  UMi Plus E , which features a 5.5-inch FHD screen and will be one of the first available smartphones with Mediatek's Helio P20 octa-core chipset. The new  UMi Plus E  is an updated version of the already available UMi Plus smartphone, coming with Mediatek's 16nm Helio P20 octa-core SoC, which promises a 20 percent higher CPU performance and 25 percent higher GPU performance compared to the Helio P10. UMi paired the Helio P10 with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, which should certainly help with performance. The Helio P20 is Mediatek's first 16nm SoC that is manufactured by TSMC and features eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and the new Mali T880 MP2 GPU clocked at 900MHz. UMi  has confirmed the release of their latest “budget flagship” Soon! UMi Plus  uses 6000 Series aluminum materials for its body, the screen size is 5.5″ and uses a Sharp panel with 1920×1080 resolution and a 2.5D Arc Glass. It uses the same position for the fingerprint scanner as iPhone and the sensor and has an unlocking speed of only 0.1s! Helio P10 Octa-Core processor, 4GB Samsung RAM memory and 32GB of internal storage compose some perfectly balanced specifications to give the best possible performances for everyone while keeping a low price tag. The front camera is a 5.0MP unit with GalaxyCore®GC5005 sensor, the rear one is a 13MP shooter with SAMSUNG®3L8 sensor, for fast and accurate shots.
