Vernee Thor Plus packs a huge battery in a relatively slim body, has an inviting price tag
It's a rare sight nowadays that a manufacturer would stuff a massive battery in a smartphone. Usually, such an act means compromising a phone's slim profile. But, just 3 months ago, manufacturer Vernee showed us that we can get the best of both worlds with its midrange Thor E phone, which had a 5,200 mAh cell, but still retained a relatively slim profile. Now, the company is upping the ante with the Thor Plus and its massive 6,200 mAh battery. But let's start from the top! The Vernee Thor Plus is a metal-laden handset with fine minimalistic looks about it. It sports a 5.5-inch screen with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution amounting for about 267 PPI density. The handset is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor ticking at 1.3 GHz, 3 GB of RAM, and has 32 GB of onboard storage expandable via microSD card.
